Licensed Electrician
We are seeking a licensed Electrician to join our installation team. This role requires comfort with both traditional electrical work and modern low-voltage system integration. You will work on everything from security cameras on light posts with 480V power taps to installing conference room AV systems and electrical outlets. The ideal candidate is versatile, safety-focused, and eager to contribute across a wide variety of technology-driven projects.

What You Will Do
Safely install and maintain security cameras, access control devices, alarm systems, and intercoms.
Tap into 480V power sources for outdoor light pole installations and similar applications.
Run conduit, pull cable, perform terminations, and complete panel work for both high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
Install and service electrical outlets, lighting, and branch circuits for commercial projects.
Support installation of audio/visual systems, including projectors, displays, speakers, and structured cabling.
Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and site maps for integrated technology projects.
Diagnose and repair electrical and system issues in both new construction and retrofit environments.
Work at heights safely, including from ladders, lifts, and bucket trucks.
Collaborate with Oculens technicians, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship, and customer service.
Required Qualifications
Valid Electrician’s License in Arizona (or ability to obtain).
3+ years of electrical experience, preferably in commercial or industrial settings.
Experience with 480V high-voltage work required.
Familiarity with low-voltage systems such as security, networking, or AV preferred (willing to train).
Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with maglocks, electric strike locks, crash bars, and door hardware integration.
Familiarity with bending and installing EMT, RMC, or PVC conduit.
Experience working on lift equipment (scissor lifts, boom lifts, bucket trucks).
Knowledge of trenching, coring, or other infrastructure prep for outdoor installations.
Comfort working in both new construction and retrofit environments.
Experience coordinating with general contractors and other trades on job sites.
Ability to read and mark up as-built drawings or redlines.
Journeyman-level experience or leadership on small crews.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
